Salivation

I'm not really into pork nowadays. Di ko alam. Di ko lang feel. Poodrah says you can only have a serving of red meat the size of a matchbox everyday. Hindi rin ako mahilig sa lechon. I find it yucky in the tongue especially the ones with fat like i'm eating my own sipon. Maybe i psyched myself to make lechon pork yucky. It depends on the luto. I like the sinigang na baboy but now i'm loving the sinigang with salmon belly.  And the hickory spareribs of Banapple. Yummy. Kaso its too filling for me.

So lately, i've been loving fish most especially the small fried daing na bangus which is always a staple sa bahay namin sa Ciudad paired with some fresh salad of pako or lato on the side. Usually walang maliliit na bangus sa SM kaya minsan pumupunta pa ako ng Farmers to buy some small sized bangus. Anlayo lang talaga ng Farmers ngayon dahil we live in Fairview na. I'llshare with you this one piece of delight i devoured last week. I had to picture it dahil i was so happy eating it.

Daing was bought in Farmers and the side dish of lato as well. Masarap yan. Lato with onions and kamatis plus vinegar. Sarap. Pinoy na pinoy. Lato is a seaweed by the way which i think is rich in iodine. It reminds you of bulutong tubig. Yun lang ang maisip kong hitsura niya. It might give your tastebuds some culture shock pero ayos pa rin.

Speaking of food, i'm looking for the best tom yum soup in town. Dati, we used to eat in this run of the mill thai canteen sa likod ng UP near the MWSS. Canteen na pang mahirap talaga ang effect with matching bentilador na maitim pero diyos ko ang sarap ng pagkain at thai dishes lang. Lalo na yung TOM YUM soup. Halos araw araw ata ako kumkain dun dati, may ex kasi ako na taga UP.

I think Tom Yum is thai's version of sinigang. At ayoko na rin sa Krung Thai dahil mahal na at marami pa akong bad memories dun. I also tried Tom Yum soup sa Cafe Juanita in Pasig--- almost close to the ones i eat sa Thai canteen sa UP pero kasi sa UP presyong canteen pero pang restaurant ang lasa. And then yung friend ko nagpunta ng Thailand at nakita ko ang picture ng kinain nilang Tom Yum soup doon at naalala ko yung sa Thai Canteen. Hay san na kaya yung Thai Canteen na yun? Ito ang hitsura ng Tom Yum Soup

Burst of flavors talaga ito at madaming seafood efek which i reaaalllly like. Maanghang na fresh sa bibig at pagpapawisan ka at mabubusog ka. LIght sa tiyan dahil puro seafood ang meat. Ayun. Takam nako.

This has been my sanctuary for four years already. It's my extension. Almost like a limb out in the open. Know that people want to express, to just chuck it out, to just be themselves even on something as artificial as blog. I am that people. So don't mind me...
